Seattle Chapter members represent NLG student member in John and Jane Does 1-6 vs. Seattle PD, OPA, Sueoka, et al.

On January 6, 2021, at least six Seattle Police Department officers voluntarily traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in a demonstration with extremists – Donald Trump’s so-called “Stop the Steal” rally. To prevent the release of public information into an investigation into their admitted behavior, these six officers sued a member of the public (Sam Sueoka) naming him and exposing him to danger, simply because he filed a request under the Public Records Act.
Mr. Sueoka is a second year law student in Seattle, and is being represented by NLG members Janet Thoman and Neil Fox.
